Gracius Patra (GP) is a Consultant of PQM Consultans. In PQM Consultant, we see our values in helping clients to build a sustainable continuous improvement in behavior and culture through people engagement which in return will impact “productivity and quality improvement”. GP specialize in the area of lean manufacturing through Genba and Kaizens activity.
GP started his career in a Management Trainee program designed specifically to hone future leaders in one of the largest FMCG company in the world. Right after the program, he has proven himself the ability to be responsible of a whole production line as AM line leader. This granted him vast amount of in-depth knowledge for ISC (Integrated Supply Chain), Lean management, Shop-floor management, problem solving, line balancing and traceability system. Moreover, GP also responsible in building E&T (education and training) program in the site he led. Several of his program: Skill Matrix assessment, Curriculum building, training planning, and coaching.
During his career, he had attended several leadership activities including: High Impact Presentation Skills, PSDM (Problem Solving and Decision Making), Project Management, Manufacturing Management, SMED, and DMAIC. He also had a chance in developing dilution factor based traceability for bulk liquid and powdered material and he is a SME for Center Lining solutions for machinery that includes Poka-Yoke.
He acquired a double degree title for bachelor of engineering focusing on Mechatronics Engineering from Swiss German University and Fachhochschule Südwestfalen. In regard to his experience, he was able to develop a thesis of constructing a multi-directional octopod which in result achieved an honorary result. With that he is also have the knowledge for industrial automation using SCADA and PLC.
All in all, GP is innovative, quick learner and approachable as an individual. With his open mindset thinking he has proven to be able to work with any colleagues from staff level to managerial level with ease.
