PQM Consultants was founded on October 23, 1987. Our company was a collaborative effort to enhance productivity and quality improvement through people in Indonesia, ultimately increasing competitiveness.
In the 1980s, Paulus Abdi Setiawan, Kristanto Santosa, Dr. Boenjamin Setiawan, Eko Hendriyanto, and Dr. Sonny Irawan agreed to stand up together and with their capabilities to contribute to building a productivity and quality culture in Indonesia.
We held our very first International Seminar in 1988. Since then, PQM Consultants has been pursuing what became the founder’s invention, improving productivity and quality in Indonesia to compete in the global market.
PQM Consultants is the first and only local consulting company in Indonesia to assist our clients in achieving international awards. We helped PT Komatsu Indonesia win the esteemed Deming Prize from JUSE (Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers). We also assisted PT Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia, PT Wahana Duta Jaya Rucika, and PT Indo Kordsa Tbk, in securing the TPM Awards from the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JPIM).
PQM Consultants also facilitates cross-fertilization among our clients through special events such as Kaizen Events, Field Trips, and Benchmarking. These initiatives enable participants to learn firsthand how other companies are implementing transformative improvements. We achieve sustainable results by maintaining long-term relationships with our clients, as shown by our opportunities for learning and growing together.
