Yozie Syamsubar is a Consultant in PQM Consultants – a firm specializing in trainings and consulting to establish a culture of continuous improvement in client companies to increase their productivity and quality through people.
He started his career as a Technical Consultant in PT. Mincom Indoservices, a consulting firm that provides Information Technology services. For more than 20 years, Yozie joined PT. Unilever Indonesia, one of the world’s largest consumer goods company where he took various positions in Information Technology, Sales, Customer Service Operations, Supply and Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Distribution Management. Yozie also worked as a professional consultant in logistics and inventory planning for PT Katamata Group, an eye care distribution company.
During his tenure, he successfully completed several high scale projects such as Distributor Replenishment Systems (VMI) which aim for improving efficiency in order management and services to customers; established the Integrated Customer Services Database System to support visibility control and decision making process in day-to-day operations; Implementation of Frequent Replenishment to all Distribution Centre across nation using Inventory Model to support optimized inventory level and services to customers; Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) with main player of multinational modern retail; Complexity Reduction Initiation, which successfully brought increased efficiency in planning and distribution processes; The implementation of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) which brought positive impact to sales target achievement, supported by more efficient decision making processes and streamlined operations.
Other projects that have been conducted are establishing an end-to-end planning for the eye care industry, Supply Chain Management System in MRO business process including integrated planning through S&OP for mass transportation company, learning modules in Supply Chain Planning for multinational beverages company, improvements in planning and warehouse operations for several national and multinational companies, and enhancing the business process of production planning and inventory control (PPIC) for multinational building materials company.
Yozie improves his competences by participating in various trainings and workshop such as Seven Habits for Highly Effective People, Personal Effectiveness and Leadership Programme by Asia Works, Unilever Regional Supply Chain course (Bangkok), Supply and Demand Planning workshop (Istanbul), Orbit Shift Launch workshop by Erehwon, Unilever S&OP workshops, and APICS annual Conference (Shanghai).
Yozie completed his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Sepuluh November Institute of Technology (ITS) and Master of Business Systems from Monash University, Australia. He also obtained certification in planning and inventory management (CPIM) from APICS USA.
